Brooks has once again been named one of Jacksonville’s Best Places to Work by the Jacksonville Business Journal‘s annual survey. This is the fifth year that Brooks has received this award.

We are honored to have such a stellar reputation in the communities we serve.  But we are equally impressed with the reputation we have among our employees. Brooks asks all new employees what influenced their decision to join our team.  Consistently, the top three answers include our reputation, our community involvement, and our clinical education opportunities.

“My I.D. is a badge of honor that is recognized wherever I go,” said one employee as part of the survey. “I love it here. I could retire at any time, but the challenge and the satisfaction I get from contributing to this company makes the thought of retiring a hollow feeling. I am privileged to work at Brooks and to contribute to its mission.”

To qualify as a Best Place to Work, surveys are sent from an external company, Quantum Workplace, to full-time and part-time employees at Brooks. The survey measures a wide range of research-validated workplace factors that impact employee engagement and satisfaction. Employees are asked questions about employee wellness, benefits, and overall work experience. Quantum Workplace then ranks companies based on responses to the survey.

The Jacksonville Business Journal held a ceremony on March 22nd to present the awards. Out of 377 companies that participated in the survey process, 51 were chosen and divided by company size. Brooks was among the extra-large winners and was also the only health system to make the list.
