Special Events & Clinics

In addition to the on-going Adaptive Sports programs we offer, the Brooks Adaptive Sports program offers and participates in various special events and clinics such as the Master Pak self-defense and Martial Arts clinic, the "They Will Surf Again Surf Clinic" event and the "U Can Ski 2 School" waterskiing clinic.

Special Events/Practices/Cancellations

Saturday, November 22 – Quad rugby practice cancelled due to an out-of-town tournament.

Sunday November 23rd- Adaptive Rowing session cancelled.

Wednesday, November 26 – Rowing Center closed. Adaptive rowing cancelled.

Thursday, November 27- Happy Thanksgiving! Cuba Hunter closed. Wheelchair basketball cancelled.

Friday November 28- Wheelchair Basketball cancelled

Tuesday, December 2 – Archery at the Ft. Caroline Archery Club.

Wednesday, December 3 - Adaptive Rowing from 5:30 -7:30.

Saturday, December 13 –Handcycling Hits the Road on the Jax -Baldwin Trail. Registration is required if using a Brooks handcycle.

Tuesday, December 16 - Archery at the Ft. Caroline Archery Club.

Wednesday, December 17 –Rowing Center closed. Adaptive rowing cancelled.

Wednesday, December 24 –Rowing Center closed. Adaptive rowing cancelled.

Thursday, Christmas Day –Happy Holidays! Cuba Hunter closed. Wheelchair basketball cancelled.

Friday December 26- Wheelchair Basketball cancelled

Wednesday, December 31- Rowing Center closed. Adaptive rowing cancelled.

Thursday, January 1- New Year’s Day. Cuba Hunter closed. Wheelchair basketball cancelled.

Friday-Sunday, January 9-11, 2009 - 2nd Annual Southern Slam Quad Rugby Tournament at the Jax Sportsplex (old Indoor Sports Arena). Volunteers please mark your calendars!!!!
