Dr. Parag Shah to Treat Medically Complex Diagnoses

Clinical Expertise

There’s a new addition to the Brooks team of clinicians.

Dr. Parag Shah joins Brooks from Michigan, where he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Wayne State University. He attended St. George’s University for Medical School after graduating from The University of Florida with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting.

Dr. Shah’s passion for physical medicine was sparked by his own personal experience undergoing two ACL surgeries, the first when he was injured as a 17-year-old student athlete. After witnessing first-hand the power of one-on-one care and the important role doctors play in helping patients assimilate to their new lifestyle, Dr. Shah worked hard to implement this same philosophy in his own practice.

At Brooks, he will be treating patients with medically complex diagnoses as well as those who have suffered from a stroke. In the coming months, he also plans to develop and grow other programs at Brooks, and he is thrilled to be working alongside physicians who share his passion of providing excellent patient care. Dr. Shah is also excited to move back to his home state of Florida, where he, his wife and one-year-old son, can be close to their family and friends.
