Is Brooks right for me?
In order to be admitted to Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital, patients must:
- Require a hospital level of care
- Need a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program
- Be able to participate in and benefit from intensive rehabilitation to include three hours of therapy per day
- Have a discharge plan in place
- Have a physician referral
Your first steps
Your care will begin before you even arrive at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital. While you are still in an acute care hospital, our nurse liaison or physician specializing in rehabilitation will conduct a complete evaluation of your condition. They will also answer any questions you or your family has and help prepare you for your admittance to our hospital. Our Admissions Department will help you to determine either your insurance coverage or other financial arrangements.
